How to unlock god-tier focus and escape the matrix (hint: use A.I.)

The world wants you to sleepwalk through life. They want you to play by the rules of a system that was designed to benefit the few at the top at everyone else’s expense.

 

But fortunately, for people like yourself who are trying to be more intentional about how you navigate through modern society, there is an opportunity to leverage the power of A.I. to get so focused that you leave the universe with no choice but to conspire in your favor.

 

I was going to say that this system we are living in, this system of modern western society, is broken because it’s not working for regular people like you and me, but on second thought the system is working exactly as intended. It coerces people to spend their best years sacrificing their freedom and their health in the name of manifesting someone else’s vision. It uses instant gratification and the comfort of a steady paycheck to pacify people just enough so that they don’t pursue their own dreams.

 

The system necessitates that most people remain unfocused, thus unable to escape crippling debt, soul crushing jobs, toxic relationships, chronic diseases, depression and mental illness.

The endless distractions that bombard us every day are not accidents. They are built-in features of the system.

 

Since you’re reading this I’m guessing you already know that there’s something wrong and you want to take the exit ramp from the societal status quo to build a life that truly represents your ideal.

 

You want to be healthier. You want to be more mentally sharp. You want to have more financial freedom. You want more control over your time, and to have better relationships.

 

To do this, you need to get focused so that you can cut through the distractions that are keeping you locked into the system.

Fortunately, we have artificial intelligence at our disposal so with a bit of intention and a clear strategy, you can leverage the power of A.I. to help you unlock the level  of focus necessary to begin building a life outside the restraints of the system.

 

So in this article I’m going to walk you through an A.I. workflow that will give you an actionable blueprint for getting so locked-in on your goals that people will literally be intimidated by you.

 

For this workflow I’ll be using Cerebrum-X which is a customized version of ChatGPT that references my hundreds of writings and blog publications to produce much more specific and pointed responses than standard ChatGPT.

Before I go any further, I want to take some time to provide context on exactly what focus and distractions are in my view, because I may be thinking of these things a bit differently.

 

For me, focus is not something that you do. It’s a state of being. 

 

Experiencing hours of undisrupted productivity is an element of focus, but to truly be focused is to be so aligned with your life’s purpose that everything that you do in life is dedicated to furthering that purpose and turning your vision into reality.

 

So discussing “escaping the matrix” you might hear me use terms like “being in alignment with your purpose” and “moving closer to your vision.”  All of these terms represent breaking away from the system that keeps you trapped, and living life on  your own terms.

 

This is what god-tier focus looks like, and most people will never experience this level of alignment in their lives.

 

They are too distracted, which is the state of being that drives you farther away from your purpose, and makes your vision more unattainable.

 

So, if you are super locked in on your job, making a lot of money and advancing up the corporate ladder, but that job is utterly killing you on the inside and making you feel more disconnected from yourself, more disconnect from what you actually want in life, then you are in a distracted state of being.

 

Many younger people take out massive debts to go to college and they get locked into a sort of modern-day indentured servitude when it may be better for them to choose a quicker and less expensive path that nonetheless unlocks the skills necessary to create a life they truly want for themselves. In this case, following the standard model of college debt and then high-paying job to pay off those debts might be a distraction that is best if avoided altogether.

 

This is what I meant earlier by the system being designed to keep people distracted. It tells you that you’re doing a good job for following the rules of society, even when those rules move you farther away from your ideal life.

 

So this article is not about a productivity system, but rather it’s about an approach for using A.I. to start playing by your own rules, and living in alignment with your true calling in life.

 

Because the only way to truly achieve god-tier focus is to be in full alignment with your highest calling. Your day to day life must be congruent with your primal inclination.

It’s super important to get this right, because you don’t want to dedicate so much of your life to “priorities” only to realize when you’re much older that you were distracted from your true life purpose this whole time.

 

When you see a drug addict who is desperately looking for their next high, you realize that even the most undisciplined person can be extraordinarily focused under the right conditions. Their focus might be misdirected, but they are focused nonetheless, and what’s more is that it’s not like they woke up one day, read a blog on how to get focused, and then implemented a 5-step process… It’s primal.

 

Every single one of us has the capability to tap into this primal nature. If you can somehow reorient your reward system to align with your vision, then there’s nothing that will come between you and your efforts to manifest your vision.

 

You will become obsessed…

You must hack into your dopamine reward system and reprogram it to focus your life-energy towards your greater purpose. You must re-set your default mode of operation.

 

But the question is, how do you actually do this?

 

I spent like 2 or 3 days trying to articulate this concept because it exists in my mind for a while but putting it in writing is a different animal. However, throughout my thought process the words “transmutation” and “sublimation” kept coming to mind.

 

Both of these words have several meanings depending on the context in which they are used.

 

“Transmutation” generally comes down to the process of fundamentally changing the nature of something.  And “sublimation” is the process of channeling destructive energy into a force for positive change.

 

The key to turning your vision into an obsession and then cutting through societal distractions to unlock god-tier focus ultimately boils down to:

1.       completely changing the nature of reality that you choose to exist within

2.       channeling distracted energy towards your purpose based on your new reality

 

Before you can do any of this you need to first understand your life’s purpose.

I’m sure you want to end all hunger and achieve world peace, but unless you’re in position to massively affect change in that way, your purpose is going to be a bit closer to home. Your purpose is to solve whatever your biggest problem is at this point in your life.

 

So if you’re fighting a debilitating disease, or you’re trying to claw your way out of crippling debt, or you’re struggling with forming fulfilling relationships to the point where you’re losing sleep over it… Then your purpose is to overcome that problem.

 

I’ve talked before about the importance of anti-visioning, using your pain, to construct your vision and your values, which will guide you to your purpose. I’ve also talked about how you can use A.I. to help you do this.

 

I have a standard prompt that I can plug into the Cerebrum-X Accelerator to trigger a 7-day journaling sequence that eventually outputs text suggesting an anti-vision, a vision, values, and life purpose.




It should go without saying that you should use this as a basis to build from because ultimately it’s you that has to figure out your own life. Technology can help, but it’s up to you to spend time refining this and making sure it truly embodies the future you see for yourself.


Solving your big life problem is your purpose which you’ve clearly defined in this step, your vision is your north star, and your values are your guiderails. 

 

Next you need to fundamentally change the nature of the reality you choose to exist within

 

When you change your reality, your concept of good and bad, right and wrong, distracted and focused, also change. 

 

When these things change, so does your identity.

 

The current system, normal everyday society, is the default reality.  And within this reality there are unwritten rules that we all are expected to follow… go to school, get a good job, buy a house with lots of closet space, take a few vacations, work till you retire, and then eventually you die…. And you do all of this while putting your hopes and dreams on the backburner.

 

But you can fundamentally change, or transmute, your reality by rejecting the rules that do not serve your purpose, and then by creating new rules for yourself.

Whatever unwritten rules of society you once followed need not continue to be followed if you determine that those rules are misaligned with your purpose. Rules that don’t agree with your vision are merely distractions.

 

By playing life by your own set of carefully crafted rules which align with your life’s vision, you’re creating the conditions for adopting a new identity as someone who is living a focused lifestyle.

 

You’ll begin to realize that in many cases, doing what the rules of society says you should do, or what the system forces you to do, is what is holding you back.

 

You’ll realize that the pressure to dedicate half of your adult life to being a good employee who moves up the corporate ladder might actually be a distraction from your purpose of being a solo entrepreneur with time freedom and geographic autonomy.  

 

You’ll realize that the typical practice of taking on massive student loans for college might actually be a distraction from your purpose of being debt-free and financially independent.

 

I can say that at this moment in my life, my purpose is to avoid the trappings of chronic disease, job dependence, and poor mental health that is pervasive among the American population today.  This is the matrix that I’ve made it my mission to escape.

 

Yet everywhere I turn, the unwritten rules of society tells me that it’s totally normal, socially beneficial even, to center my leisure time around consumption of alcohol. The messaging is everywhere. It’ll make me feel good, it’s a social lubricant, it’ll relieve my stress, but I know that consuming alcohol is really a distraction that moves me farther away from my purpose.

 

So I transmuted my reality by re-writing the rules I choose to follow.  According to my rules, alcohol will make me feel terrible, it’s a social crutch, and it’ll cause unnecessary anxiety. So I’m living in a different reality than the system wants me to exist within.

 

And it’s not just with alcohol, I made similar changes with my approach to social media and dating as well.

 

You don’t have to agree with my rules or my version of reality, and that’s the point. It’s supposed to be a very personal thing for everyone.  You must write your own rules based your own vision, and when you do this you create your own reality.

 

You might wonder where I’m going with this but it’s quite simple really.

 

When your perception of reality changes, everything about you also changes to reflect that new reality.  Your identity changes, your beliefs change, your actions change, thus your life changes.

So with the correct prompt, you can cue A.I. to begin another journaling sequence that will help you identify some of the unwritten rules that may be distracting you from your purpose, propose a short list of alternative rules that will help you to reshape your reality, and then highlight opportunities for shifting into a new identity.

As you can see, this prompt Cerebrum-X prompt takes you through a series of questions that you can complete over the course of a few days or all in one sitting, and then it synthesizes this info into some core ideas that you can leverage for cementing a new reality for yourself.





I can’t stress enough that this is just a tool, so you still need to think for yourself, but I find that doing it this way in some cases reaffirms some thoughts that I’ve already had while in other instances it makes me aware of some blind spots that I’ve never considered.

 

It’s only after you change the nature of your reality will you be in position to hack into your reward system and reprogram it to become obsessed with your vision.

 

And obsession breeds deep focus at the most primal level.

 

Now that you’re playing by your own rules and you’re existing within a new reality that sits outside of the system you can move to the next step which is to…

 

Use your newly defined reality to channel your energy away from distractions and towards your purpose

 

Or in simpler terms, you need to actually follow your own rules and live in alignment with the new reality that you’ve created for yourself.  But you’ll want to make it effortless through new habits rather than forcing it through sheer willpower.

 

You need to internalize your reality by changing the way you think and operate at the subconscious level.

Finding intrinsic motivation to pursue your purpose the key here, and this is where reprogramming your reward system finally comes into play. In my experience the most effective way to reprogram any part of the subconscious mind is through a combination of three core ideas:

 

1.       building anti-desires for misaligned habits

2.       reinforcing the habits which are aligned with your purpose

3.       using the lifestyle flow to reconfigure your reward system.

 

If you can pull this off then you will literally become obsessed with pursuing YOUR purpose, which will give you the mental fortitude and determination needed kill your distractions, get insanely focused, and finally break out of the trappings of the system.

 

This is how you escape the matrix and build your ideal life.

 

I’m not going to dive into the specifics of each because this’ll turn into a very long read if I do, but I’ll quickly go over them.

 

I’ve talked about building anti-desires before. The premise behind it is that your motivation to avoid pain is usually greater than your desire for pleasure.  This isn’t always the case but it’s often true.

 

So by taking the elements of the system which serve as distractions, and vividly associating them with your anti-vision, over time you’ll build a reflexive muscle that makes you intuitively avoid said distractions.

 

Building anti-desires can be done through a process of information curation, where you intentionally create an information echo chamber that builds the connection between distractions and your anti-vision.

 

So if you’re like me and you found the corporate rat-race to be a distraction from your life-purpose, then you find as many books, podcasts, and other information resources that support the idea. 

 

So this is one piece of the puzzle which will help you push back against the system whenever it tires to lead you astray.

 

Conversely by taking your own rules and vividly associating them with your vision, over time you’ll build a reflexive muscle that makes you intuitively gravitate towards the habits that are focused on your purpose.

 

So you do the equal but opposite as with building anti-desires. You create an information echo chamber that builds the connection between your new rules and your vision.

 

This is another piece of the puzzle that’ll help you lock in.  You’re approaching it from two angles.

 

Lastly, leveraging the power of “lifestyle flow” entails engineering your environment, habits, and energy around a singular life purpose so that deep focus and effortless action become your default mode of operation.

 

When you enter into lifestyle flow, you are intrinsically motivated to obsessively focus almost every facet of your daily life, from sunup to sundown, on the habits, behaviors, and activities that advance your life towards your purpose.

 

When you’re in lifestyle flow, every bit of incremental progress triggers a dopamine loop that only amplifies your fixation on your vision, and it makes you lose track of everything else that’s not aligned with that vision.

 

It is a low entropy lifestyle. A lifestyle in which diffusion of life your energy is minimized and is instead channeled towards the small subset of highly impactful life pursuits that are aligned with your purpose.

 

This is the key to unlocking god-tier focus.

 

With that said, you can create an A.I. prompt that outlines a framework for reprogramming the reward system by entering into a state of lifestyle flow.

Here you can see the output providing specific strategies for building anti-desires and reinforcing positive habits that'll help you to naturally live your day-to-day life in alignment with your purpose.





When you wake up every day and you know exactly how you should and shouldn't be spending your time, when you ..., and when you actively make an effort enter lifestyle flow, you will reprogram your reward system to become obsessed with manifesting your vision and your life's purpose.
